Short Uganda Safari
The 05-day trip brings you the highlights of Western Uganda; where the savannah meets the tropical rainforest. Expect to see the most interesting animals of the savannahs: lion, elephant, buffalo, hippo, and leopard) and up to 15 primate species, including chimpanzees
The safari brings you to famous national parks of Western Uganda: Kibale Forest National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park
After your breakfast, depart in direction of Kibale National Park, have a stopover in Fort Portal, the capital town of Tooro kingdom which lies on the shadow of Rwenzori Mountains, the biggest mountain range in Africa.
Today after your breakfast, morning chimps tracking in Kibale Forest with many chances of meeting primate species and different birds on the way. In the afternoon, have an additional walk within Bigodi community Swamp that gives you another chance to see the monkey species of Kibale Forest.
Transfer to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. On our way we pass the equator. Drive to Katwe fishing village, visit the local mining and arrive at your lodge in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at your lodge
Early morning game drives experience in the national park, with aim of seeing animals like elephants, buffaloes, spotted hyenas, waterbucks, Ugandan kobs, and if lucky lion and leopard . In the afternoon, take the most exciting 2 hours boat cruise on Kazinga channel, one of the most popular sites in Uganda for its concentration of wildlife and birds.
After breakfast, drive back to Kampala via the wonderful tea and banana plantation of Bushenyi district, have lunch on the way, with the memories of the unique wildlife experience and later, depending on your flight schedule, transfer to the airport for your flight departure
