Summary of the trip: the 5 day trip brings you the Uganda Gorilla safari; expect to see the most interesting animals of the savannahs: buffalo, giraffe, hippo, and leopard and gorillas

The safari brings you to famous national parks of Western Uganda:  Lake Mburo National and Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day 1: Arrival and night in Entebbe.

Day 2: transfer to Bwindi gorilla Park. 

Day 3: Gorilla tracking experience 

Day 4: transfer to Lake Mburo- evening game drive 

Day 5: Guided nature walk and Return to Entebbe

 

Itinerary

Day 1: Entebbe – Airport Transfer

On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred you for overnight stay

Distance: 10km (15 minutes’ drive)

 

Accommodations:

Day 2: - Entebbe– Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After your breakfast, depart to Bwindi Impenetrable. National Park, on our way we pass the equator, famous for photos and experiment. Today transfer will depend on the location of the gorilla permits and road conditions.

 

Distance: 550 km (Buhoma- Ruhija- NKuringo ) about 10 hours’ drive.

Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Today, the activity starts at 8am and you will follow the ranger guides in a group of maximum 8 people as you search for the habituated family of mountain gorillas, which was allocated according to the permits. Bwindi forest in Uganda has a population of about 500 gorillas, which is half the world population according to recent census of gorilla population surveys.

It is not predictable the time you will spend to encounter the gorillas. 

Day 4: Scenery drive to Lake Mburo – Game drive

After breakfast, proceed to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest of Ugandan National Parks. As you enter, go for game drive in search for animal like impalas, zebras, elands and many other antelopes.

 

Distance: 210 km (about 3hours)

Day 5: Guided nature walk – Entebbe

Early morning game walk to get face to face with animal, afterward, return to Entebbe with stopover at Equator for photo and experiment. Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to Entebbe for your departure flight. 

 

Distance: 350 km (about 5hours)
