The safari brings you to famous national parks of Western Uganda:  Queen Elizabeth National and Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park 

Highlight of 6 days gorilla safaris

 

Day 1: Arrival and night in Entebbe.

Day 2: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth via crater lakes.

Day 3: Safari in the morning and afternoon Kazinga Channel boat 

Day 4: transfer to Bwindi gorilla Park. Via Ishasha tree climbing lions 

Day 4: Gorilla tracking experience 

Day 5: transfer to Lake Mburo- evening game drive 

Day 6: Guided nature walk and Return to Entebbe

 

Itinerary

Day 1: Entebbe

On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred you for overnight stay

Distance: 10km (15 minutes’ drive)

Accommodation: Green Valley guesthouse / Guinea Fowl (BB)

 

Day 2: Entebbe – Queen Elizabeth National Park

After your breakfast, we drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park .On our way, we pass on the equator famous for photos. Dinner and overnight your Lodge 

 

Distance: 420 km (about 7hours)

Accommodation: Queen Elizabeth Bush lodge / Kazinga wilderness lodge (FB)

 

Day 3: Game drive and Boat Cruise on Kazinga channel

Early morning game drives experience in the national park, with aim of seeing animal like elephants, buffaloes, spotted hyenas, waterbucks, Ugandan kobs, and if lucky lion and leopard . In the afternoon, take the most exciting 2 hours boat cruise on Kazinga channel, one of the most popular sites in Uganda for its concentration of wildlife and bird.

 

Day 4: Tree climbing lion – Bwindi Gorilla park

After breakfast, drive through the National Park to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for tree climbing lions; game drive in search of the tree climbing lions afterwards we drive to Bwindi Impenetrable.

 

Distance: 190 km to Buhoma sector (about 6hours)/ 260 km (about 8hours)

Accommodation: Ride4woman / Rushaga Gorilla / Gorilla Valley lodge (FB)

 

Day 5: Gorilla tracking

Today, the activity starts at 8am and you will follow the ranger guides in a group of maximum 8 people as you search for the habituated family of mountain gorillas, which was allocated according to the permits. Bwindi forest in Uganda has a population of over 500 gorillas, which is half the world population according to the resent census gorilla population surveys.

 

Note: It is not predictable the time you will spend to encounter the gorillas

Day 6: Bwindi –Entebbe

after your early breakfast, we drive return to Entebbe with lunch stop on the way. Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to Entebbe for your departure flight.
