Summary of the trip. the 10 day trip brings you the highlights of Western Uganda; where welcome by the green vegetation, tea plantations and the tropical rainforest. Expect to see the most interesting animals of the savannahs: lion, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, hippo, and leopard) and up to 15 primate species, including gorillas and chimpanzees
The safari brings you to famous national parks of Western Uganda: Kibale Forest National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Lake Mburo National Park.
Highlight of western Uganda safaris (10 days)
Day 1: Arrival and night in Entebbe.
Day 2: Route for kibale forest park
Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp walk.
Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth via crater lakes.
Day 5: Safari in the morning and afternoon Kazinga Channel boat
Day 6: transfer to Bwindi gorilla Park. Via Ishasha tree climbing lions
Day 7: Gorilla tracking experience
Day 8: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. - Boat on the lake
Day 9: transfer to Lake Mburo- evening game drive

Itinerary
Day 1: Entebbe
On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred you for overnight stay

After your breakfast, depart in direction of Kibale National Park, have a stopover in Fort Portal, the capital town of Tooro kingdom which lies on the shadow of Rwenzori Mountains, the biggest mountain range in Africa.
Distance: 350 km (about 6 hours)

Today after your breakfast, morning chimps tracking in Kibale Forest with many chances of meeting primate species and different birds on the way. In the afternoon, have an additional walk within Bigodi community Swamp that gives you another chance to see the monkey species of Kibale Forest.
Transfer to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. On our way we pass the equator. Drive to Katwe fishing village, visit the local mining and arrive at your lodge in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at your lodge

Early morning game drives experience in the national park, with aim of seeing animal like elephants, buffaloes, spotted hyenas, waterbucks, Ugandan kobs, and if lucky lion and leopard . In the afternoon, take the most exciting 2 hours boat cruise on Kazinga channel, one of the most popular sites in Uganda for its concentration of wildlife and bird.
After breakfast, drive through the National Park to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for tree climbing lions; game drive in search of the tree climbing lions afterwards we drive to Bwindi Impenetrable.
Distance: 190 km to Buhoma sector (about 6hours)/ 260 km (about 8hours)

Today, the activity starts at 8am and you will follow the ranger guides in a group of maximum eight people as you search for the habituated family of mountain gorillas, which was allocated according to the permits. Bwindi forest in Uganda has a population of over 500 gorillas, which is half the world population according to the resent census of gorilla population surveys.
Note: It is not predictable the time you will spend to encounter the gorillas.
Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi; the deepest and most beautiful lake in Uganda. Take boat on the lake; you can also make optional activity: nature walk or go for a birding walk, go for canoeing, take a swim or visit the local community.

After breakfast, proceed to Lake Mburo National Park, one of the smallest of Ugandan National Parks. As you enter, go for game drive in search for animal like impalas, zebras, elands and many other antelopes.
