Summary of the trip. the 8 day trip brings you to the Uganda Western safari; where the savannah meets the tropical rainforest. Expect to see the most interesting animals of the savannahs: lion, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, hippo, and leopard) and up to 15 primate species, including gorillas and chimpanzees
The safari brings you to famous national parks of Western Uganda: Kibale Forest National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Lake Mburo National Park.
Highlight western Uganda safaris
Day 1: Arrival and night in Entebbe.
Day 2: Transfer to kibale forest park
Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking and swamp walk- transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP.
Day 4: Safari in the morning and afternoon Kazinga Channel boat
Day 5: transfer to Bwindi gorilla Park. Via Ishasha tree climbing lions
Day 6: Gorilla tracking experience
Day 7: Transfer to Lake Mburo- evening game drive
Day 8: Guided nature walk and Return to Entebbe
Itinerary
Day 1: Entebbe
On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred you for overnight stay

Day 2: Scenery drive to Kibale Forest National Park
After your breakfast, depart in direction of Kibale National Park, have a stopover in Fort Portal, the capital City of Tooro kingdom which lies on the shadow of Rwenzori Mountains, the biggest mountain range in Africa. Dinner and overnight at your lodge

Day 3: Chimps tracking & Bigodi Swamp walk
Today after your breakfast, depart for second Chimpanzee tracking experience within Kibale forest national park and in the afternoon, transfer to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. On our way we pass the equator.

Day 4: Game drive and Boat Cruise on Kazinga channel
Early morning game drives experience in the national park, with aim of seeing animal like elephants, buffaloes, spotted hyenas, waterbucks, Ugandan kobs, and if lucky lion and leopard . In the afternoon, take the most exciting 2 hours boat cruise on Kazinga channel, one of the most popular sites in Uganda for its concentration of wildlife and bird.
Day 5: Tree climbing lion – Bwindi Gorilla park
After breakfast, drive through the National Park to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for tree climbing lions; game drive in search of the tree climbing lions afterwards we drive to Bwindi Impenetrable.
Distance: 190 km to Buhoma sector (about 6hours)/ 260 km (about 8hours)

Day 6: Gorilla tracking
Today, the activity starts at 8am and you will follow the ranger guides in a group of maximum 8 people as you search for the habituated family of mountain gorillas, which was allocated according to the permits. Bwindi forest in Uganda has a population of over 500 gorillas, which is half the world population according to the resent census gorilla population surveys.
Note: It is not predictable the time you will spend to encounter the gorillas.
Day 7: Scenery drive to Lake Mburo – Game drive
After breakfast, proceed to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest of Ugandan National Parks. As you enter, go for game drive in search for animal like impalas, zebras, elands and many other antelopes.

Day 8: Guided nature walk – Entebbe
Early morning game walk to get face to face with animal, afterward, return to Entebbe with stopover at Equator for photo and experiment. Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to Entebbe for your departure flight.
